The song was co-written with Mark Manning, whose band, Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction, recorded the original version in their 1991 album ''Hoodlum Thunder''. The song was heard in Chuck Versus the Suitcase, episode 2 of the fourth season of the Chuck TV series, when Jeff, Lester and the other employees return to the Buy More. The line in the song "Fur tea cup" is a reference to a work by Méret Oppenheim from the MoMA collection Guest appearances on the track include Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx, and Elvira (Cassandra Peterson).
